Birth of a Rocker or What is Gosinta, anyway?

Leaving the world of rock concerts and Broadway shows behind was a huge shock to my system.  What do you do after years of  ringing ears,high stress, no two days off together, long hours,and cranky people?  For me, it was get up in the morning, put my suit coat over my flannel nightgown and learn to buy and sell on eBay. After over 5 years of playing around, watching sales rise and fall and never feeling really confident of what I was doing, I finally came across Janelle Elms - emarketing expert, mentor and spirited entrepreneur.  Her On Line Success Institute newsletters and classes wooed me into choosing success.  She birthed OSI RockStars in October 2007.  Finally, after playing around on eBay, my business was destined to join the ranks of many others who credit Janelle, OSI Rocks Stars and the over 100 hours of classes for taking the chance on becoming successful.

After becoming a Rock Star, it was time to take off the suit coat… roll up those flannel nightgown sleeves and get down to building my business. Build a business it is. So, what do you do when you go to the mall?  Do you shop in just one store? Of course not!  The whole design of a shopping mall is to go into one store then another and another.  Thus, the opening of my eBay store tagline – ‘visit my store, you’ll never gosinta ‘nother store
again!’  There are still many things around the house and I add new and used items often, but you can’t take the music away from the  Girl!  I am passionate about the preservation of music history. I spend hours each week rescuing pieces of history from destruction in land fills. You can find right at 1,000 vinyl record albums and 78 rpm wax and vinyl records awaiting adoption by just the right individual. Records are just as much a part of musical history as the music itself.

OK – still not convinced??  How about some facts…

1) I am doing what I love doing and am lovin’ it!

2) My sales have shot up a rockin’ 400% since January 1,2008!!!

3) Milestone week of 5/5 – 5/11: reached 1,000 feedback, 1.000 items up for sale plus I became an eBay  PowerSeller with average monthly sales of $1,000 per month!  (And this is after major surgery March 4 with ongoing complications).

4) My husband can’t wait to get home from work to see what other funtastic things have happened!!!
